To Read I seriously haven’t ever had this many books to read at one time…EVER! This is one of the many reasons why I love Christmas, all these books to read PLUS gift cards to the book store! Anyway they’re in the order I’ll most likely be reading them in (it could change depending on my mood), expect reviews on most of these as well as some books I’ve already read soon. 1. The Fault In Our Stars - John Green SO SO SO EXCITED!!! I pre-ordered this in September (I think) and got it this morning. I’ve already started it and know that I’ll love it. It’s also signed by my favorite author which is an AWESOME bonus!!! I’m going to finish this in a few hours and have a review up tomorrow.  2. The Name Of The Star - Maureen Johnson I already started this and love it, but I’m stopping to read The Fault In Our Stars because I’ve been waiting for it for so long. The setting and the plot are just amazing and so far I adore Rory. Johnson’s details and descriptions of England are very interesting and not overdone in an annoying way. I can tell it’s the start to a great series. 3. The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini This book was lent to me by my aunt. I honestly have no clue why I haven’t read this yet considering that TONS of people have recommended it to me. I also have no clue what it’s about (which is really weird…) so I don’t know what to expect.  4. Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs I AM SO EXCITED TO READ THIS! This is another book that I pre-ordered but I just haven’t gotten to it yet. This book is gorgeous and based on the synopsis I know that I’m going to love this. 5. The Time Traveler’s Wife - Audrey Niffenegger My wonderful aunt also lent this to me. This kind of book isn’t typically my thing but I’ve heard good things about it so it’s worth a shot. 6. The Secret Life Of Bees - Sue Monk Kidd Also lent to me by aunt. Unfortunately I saw the movie adaption of this a few years ago without knowing it was based on a book (I always try to avoid doing that) but, I liked the movie so I’m pretty sure I’ll love the book. 7. House Of Sand And Fog - Andre Dubus III ALSO lent to me by my aunt (so awesome!!!) I honestly have never heard of this book, have no clue what it’s about, and therefore have no expectations…which is great! With so many of my favorites I had either low expectations or no expectations.  8. The Truth About Forever - Sarah Dessen This is my second Sarah Dessen book, the first being This Lullaby, which I had no desire to read but I ended up loving it. So, I decided to read another one of her books and I’m very excited! 9. Bright Young Things - Anna Godbersen I already started this and stopped for no apparent reason. Anyway, I really enjoyed The Luxe Series (also by Godbersen). I didn’t expect to enjoy that series at all because I don’t find the late 1800s/early 1900s particularly interesting (keep in mind I DO like history) and I can’t really decide how I feel about books about catty girls. However I was pleasantly surprised about how entertaining they were. I was very excited when I found out that Godbersen was writing a series taking place in the 1920s (an era which I’m very interested in) but so far I’m not sure about this book. I will, however, definitely be finishing this and trying out the next book in the series. 10. Skinny - Ibi Kaslik I got this only because I loved Wintergirls so much and it was recommended to me. From the first two chapters I can tell the books are very different but I’m looking forward to this because it is told from the perspective of the person with the eating disorder as well as that character’s sister who is witnessing it. 11. The Body Of Christopher Creed - Carol Plum-Ucci This was given to me last Christmas, and for some reason I lost this book and only found it just now which is VERY bizarre…I can’t really tell if I’ll like this book or not but I love to try books even if they’re not my thing. This is actually the only book that I got for Christmas last year, and this year I guess my entire family caught on to the fact that I read because I’m currently swimming in Barnes & Noble giftcards and unread books…which makes me very happy. 12. The Dangerous Days Of Daniel X - James Patterson This another book that I started and stopped for no reason. I got this because I LOVE the Maximum Ride Series and I don’t know if it’s just because I don’t like Daniel as much as Max (I know, I know…I shouldn’t compare books) or that I don’t really like aliens but from what I’ve read so far (which keep in mind- isn’t very much) I’m not sure how I feel about this. After shelving this for quite a long time I’m going to try it again with an open mind. If I don’t end up liking it I’m going to try Witch & Wizard because I’ve heard great things about it. So yeah, a lot of those books are YA fiction but I suppose that doesn’t really matter. I’m so thankful for the books that were gifted and loaned to me and I can’t wait to read these!!! I’ll try to review as many of these as I can and I’ll also be rereading some of my favorites and reviewing those. I’m going to try to only post 1-2 reviews a week  so it doesn’t take over my blog. However I do want my blog to be more than just pictures, so I’ve created a music page which you should checkout and soon there will be a book page for stuff like this and reviews. Maybe there will be more in the future for movies, tv, ect. (I have a lot of interests, lol). Also if you have any book recommendations send them my way! I read about 1-5 books a week depending on how busy I am and my mood so I always need something to read!!!
